Yar, avast. Yesterday was International Don't Drive Your Car day... apparently huge in France and England, but definitely lacking coverage on this side of the puddle.
It was actually publicized by the Ecology Action Centre here in Halifax. The day before "International Leave Your Car at Home Day" (as they were calling it)they were holding signs on Quinpool Road advertising the initiative and alternate more eneregy effecient ways of commuting.
